Tom Douthit’s life and ministry have consistently pointed people to Jesus and equipped others for Kingdom work. As the former pastor of BridgePoint Bible Church, from which Cornerstone Family Ministries was born, Tom has a deep and lasting connection to our story. His encouragement, friendship, and steady support have been a source of strength and inspiration to Cornerstone Family Ministries through the years.

A Houston native and graduate of Memorial High School, Texas A&M University, and Dallas Theological Seminary, Tom served for 31 years as pastor of BridgePoint before becoming Executive Director of Toolbox Ministries. In that role, he continues to invest in men across Houston, helping them grow in faith, leadership, and purpose.

Tom’s humility, wisdom, and heart for others have earned him deep respect throughout the community. Today, Cornerstone Family Ministries’ Luminary Productions team is honored to partner with Toolbox by providing A/V production for its monthly lunches, a full-circle connection that reflects Tom’s lifelong commitment to collaboration and Kingdom impact.

Tom and his wife, Celia, have been married since 1985. Recently retired from her career as a school nurse in Spring Branch ISD, Celia shares Tom’s heart for serving others. They are proud parents of four grown children and grandparents to five, and their lives continue to reflect a legacy of faith, family, and service.
